Obstetrical (OB) Care

Obstetricians provide medical care prenatally and during birth.

Obstetricians will see you at their office for prenatal visits. They run on an "on call" schedule, rotating who attends births at the hospital. You will need to check with your OB about their schedule around the time of your estimated due date (EDD).

You will also see your OB for a postpartum follow up visit, usually around 6 weeks postpartum.
