Alternative Health Care
Alternative Health Care includes any form of body work that is not covered by your family doctor, or medical doctor or specialist.
It can include acupuncture, Chinese medicine, chiropractic care, homeopathy, massage therapy, naturopathic care, orthotics, osteopathy, pelvic floor physiotherapy, physiotherapy, or reflexology.
Most services are covered monetarily, in some capacity, by insurance plans - check with your insurance provider about this.
Consider asking the Alternative Health Practitioner you decide to work with about their experience and training with pregnant and postnatal bodies.
